From the NYT comes a story of a man who had to forgo his family vacation because of sweeping changes to the federal tax system as a result of legislation that was signed into law in late 2017.
It’s Mr Traub, the head of Deloitte’s tax-policy practice in Washington. He spent his family vacation getting clients up to speed on how changes would impact their bottom line.
Many companies are still scratching their heads wondering how these changes are going to impact them, but one thing is beyond dispute. There are going to be a lot of accountants burning the midnight oil getting caught up with the new tax legislation.
